I am sure I speak for the Committee of the Old West Downs Society, for the Old Boys and Girls of the School, and for the former members of the Staff, when I send King Alfred’s College our sincere best wishes for the prosperity of your new project for the use of West Downs to be completed in March 2001 by Messrs Feilden Clegg Bradley as residential quarters for students, as a Centre for the Performing Arts and as a Conference Centre. We will all be greatly interested to hear further news of this project as it comes into operation.
